I love this time of year. I can stock up on pumpkin (here's why) really cheaply, the fall colors, the smells, the food, the family. It's a time, for me of reflection, new beginnings/determinations and gratitude. My dogs make my list daily. Making treats that are chemical free and made from food I would consume myself doesn't seem to be that big of a stretch for me. Dog treats are easy, affordable, something you can do with your human kiddos too. Here's a couple of recipes made from left overs.... Happy Thanksgiving.
