Atticus mirrors others dogs behaviour, so if paired with the wrong dog or a dog that is aggressive towards other dogs, he could react, however, he hasn’t had any negative altercations with other dogs and gets along well with balanced dogs. Good with cats : Yes – currently lives with a cat and they get along Good with other animals: Only exposed to cats and dogs Good with kids : No – Does not do well with children Good in the car : Yes, loves car rides Good on a leash : No – pulls on leash and has never been trained to properly to walk on leash Energy level : Moderate to High – still a very young active dog Typical exercise routine : Both parents work full time thus Atticus does not get the exercise that he requires Toys favorite/type: Needs very durable toys as he is an aggressive chewer, does not damage household furniture or other household items Good home alone (or crate trained): Crate trained and also good free roaming House trained : Yes Destructive at home : No Reason for rehoming : Had an incident where he bit a family member’s child (superficially – no broken skin), but currently lives in a home with children and the family has decided it is not the best place for him and the children to live safely. Dogs perfect home : A perfect home for Atticus would be a child-free home as he still requires quite a bit of training. He would thrive with a handler that has experience with large breed dogs and has a strong sense of leadership and can put a lot of focus on exercise, socialization, and training. Atticus is overall a very friendly dog who loves his people and is very loyal and if matched with the perfect person or people, he could have the best most fulfilled life ahead of him. |
