In Loving MEmory of The Wild Things' Judith
Judith was a young dog who struggled too much in her young life. Before being rescued by Oops! Jude had a difficult life, she did not receive the nurturing or care required. She was left to fend for herself. And came to Oops! in a feral state.
Unfortunately, due to her traumatic past, Jude developed severe aggression issues. Through working with her consistently, there had been no improvement and she was continuing to deteriorate. After consultations with different professionals, including a veterinary consult. Judith was deemed unadoptable and would be a danger in a home environment, to both humans and animals alike. It was an incredibly heart-wrenching decision, however, we take comfort in knowing that her time at Oops! was filled with love, comfort, and that behaviour modification was implemented to no avail. |
In Loving Memory of KringleKringle the Pringle. The little puppy with a heart of gold. He was a fighter from the beginning. The little guy who when he came to me, couldn't focus his eyes and needed a stern talking to about eating his 'greens'. He loved to be sang to and cuddled. A sweet and gentle boy who touched my heart. It is with sadness that I write this, Kringle, became very sick, his little body was shutting down, and he was in terrible pain. Upon consultation with my vet, there was nothing that could be done for this sweet, gentle soul so I made the heart-wrenching decision to end his pain and suffering. God speed precious little one I know there are better days ahead for you, promise.

In Loving Memory of VixenVixen, this little girl was pure spunk. A confident little pup that was always up for exploring, the first out of the gate and always looking for new adventures. Though she had such spirit she also was a snuggler. She loved her cuddle times in between adventures. Little miss Vixen was always the smallest of the litter and had difficulty putting on weight. When we went to the vets for her next set of needles, she was diagnosed with a High Grade 3 borderline Grade 4 heart murmur and was in the beginning stages of congenital heart failure. It was my decision to let her go peacefully. God speed precious little one, you are deeply missed, I know that there are better days ahead for you. I promise. (January 22, 2013)
