You've either seen these type warnings, you possibly live under a rock... or, gasp.... are a non dog person! (is that even possible?)

So, if you're like me, by the time I get to the store, I can't remember the names on the list. I can't remember which countries and which ingredients are black listed.

I stopped buying treats many years ago. For me it was simple economics, I had four dogs at the time, I treat train and use them to reinforce behaviors I want to see again, and was going through too many for it to be feasible for me. So, even though cooking is my least favorite thing to do, I started.

I found that it's super easy. Fast, cheap and I've never ruined a batch yet. Of course my critics are also my biggest fans!
This is my own go-to recipe!

I also add ground egg shells for calcium, but you could add kelp or any other ingredient.

For my 1 cup of oil, I use a mixture of peanut butter, bacon grease, burger drippings, lard, shortening, vege oil, mashed banana... basically whatever I have around the kitchen!

You cannot mess these up! Enjoy!
